Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals opening for Assembly position. Monday - Friday. 7AM - 3:30PM. $16.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble garage door parts, such as springs, cables, rollers, and tracks, according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ensure that all parts are properly fitted, secured, and aligned.
- Inspect completed units for quality and accuracy.
- Adhere to strict quality control standards and procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of assembled parts to ensure compliance.
- Report any quality issues or defects to supervisors.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Use fine motor skills to manipulate small parts.
