Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced industrial engine mechanics. Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM. $24-$30+. DOE
Mechanic/Technician
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet of equipment, including:
- Aerial Work Platforms
- General construction tools and equipment
- (Specialty lines locations) Large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment
- Diagnose and repair equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel, heavy equipment, or specialty line equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil/gas).
- Trade school certification or equivalent training is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, including troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift 50 pounds or more.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
Note: This position may require the use of personal mechanic tools.
