Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals in Syracuse NY is working with local companies to provide spray painter technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive, commercial, or industrial spray painting and be passionate about delivering high-quality finishes.
This is full time: first shift 7AM - 3:30PM. $20+ DOE
Responsibilities:
- Mix primers and paint to produce coating for moldings as necessary
- Position parts of moldings in right position and location to be painted
- Monitor painted parts that need to dry
- Maintain and use equipment such as air operated sprayer to coat moldings with paint
- Document completion process and adhere to safety policies and practices
- Adhere to standards and quality of parts being painted per customer requirement
Requirements:
- Bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time
- 6 months of more of experience in spray/automotive painting
- Lift up to 35 lbs
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Exceptional math skills
- Verbal communication, judgement skills, coordination skills, attention to detail
