Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals needs experienced delivery drivers with warehouse management experience. The warehouse delivery driver is responsible for transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; and loading and unloading orders. As well as assisting other warehouse duties as needed. Full Time, permanent. ~$23. DOE
Responsibilities
- Assists in receiving to ensure quantity and quality of orders are correct.
- Delivers a variety of materials from internal or external sources over scheduled and/or unscheduled routes
- Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.
- Drives vehicles and material handling equipment for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites.
- Maintains delivery vehicles to ensure safe operation.
- Maintains records for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information.
- Participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
- Assists in all functions within the warehouse as needed
- Prepares orders by pulling from stock to meet delivery requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum: Two years related experience in route driving and/or training in material handling of durable goods including hazardous materials
- Preferred: The above plus 2 years’ experience with a wholesale HVAC/R or similar industry.

- General knowledge in the safe handling of durable materials
- Safe use of material handling equipment.
- General math skills, including calculating margins, discounts and percentages.
- Experience in using POS computer systems to locate information and process transactions.
- Experience in using web-based tools to research product and information.
- Work productively in teams with a wide range of people.
- Work independently with minimal direction.
- Follow written instructions and documented procedures.
