One of our long time clients is looking to add a HVAC Inventory Manager to their ever growing team. The correct candidate will be able to lead and oversee the procurement, distribution, and inventory control of all materials and components needed to build a high volume of HVAC units.
HVAC Inventory Manager Qualifications:
· All candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years of related experience in materials management.
· MRP (Material Requirements Planning) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)working knowledge is a must.
· Must possess extremely strong communication, people management, and leadership skills.
· Must possess the ability to set goals, while coordinating the activities to successfully meet them.
· Must have the ability to delegate to, and empower team members.
· Must be a problem solver and have the ability to make independent decisions based on experience and information.
· Know, understand, and put into practice, company policies and procedures based on sound judgment, and with evenhanded application.
· Must be flexible and team oriented to meet the demands of the business.
HVAC Inventory Manager Job responsibilities:
· Responsible for our overall Inventory management process.
· Planning raw materials to ensure production/sales goals are met on a weekly/monthly basis.
· Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure smooth production runs & lead time to customers.
· Work with the Production Manager to understand production capacity based on orders/workload.
· Must develop and foster strong intradepartmental relationships.
· Work with MRP system to manage requirements.
· Work closely with sales to understand future/potential jobs/orders so that material lead times do not impact delivery.
· Serve as the direct supervisor to the Purchasing Agent & Production Coordinator.
· Review requirements vs. delivery dates vs. production capacity and adjust sales orders and production schedules as required to me customer demands.
Shift: Daytime Shift (Somewhat flexible)
Pay: $75,000/Yr (Direct Hire)
