Job Title: Warehouse and Delivery Driver
Location: Arden, NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30-4:00pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $19-$20/hr
Position Overview:
Our client in Arden, NC, is seeking a Warehouse and Delivery Driver to join their team. This role combines warehouse responsibilities with driving duties, ensuring efficient transportation of goods and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including a company pickup truck and trailer hitch, for the transportation of goods to various locations.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain an organized warehouse, including inventory management and stock rotation.
- Assist in moving heavy equipment within the warehouse as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery schedules and inventory needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and working in the warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving heavy-haul vehicles preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor as required.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems is a plus.
