Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule: M-R 8:00am until 5 or 5:30pm and Fridays 8am to noon on site.

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy professional to serve as the cornerstone of our client’s functional medicine practice. This role is essential in ensuring an exceptional experience for patients while supporting day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do:
Patient Coordination
Guide new patients through onboarding and scheduling processes.
Manage check-ins, check-outs, and follow-up appointments.
Coordinate referrals, lab tests, and diagnostic scheduling, including prior authorizations.
Review and distribute lab results and imaging reports.
Conduct patient follow-up calls to review notes and coordinate care.
Administrative Support
Maintain and organize the EMR system, including patient portals and task lists.
Manage office supplies, lab kits, and vendor relationships.
Oversee mail and package handling, as well as license renewals.
Communication
Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and emails with professionalism.
Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Practice Operations
Ensure the office is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Coordinate with maintenance workers and manage office schedules.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially Cerbo, is a plus.
