Job Title: Converting Machine Operator - Slitter Operator
Location: Brevard, NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17/hr

We are seeking 4 detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Converting Machine Operators specializing in slitter operations. This is your opportunity to build valuable skills, work in a steady schedule, and grow in the manufacturing field.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist machine operators with the setup and operation of slitter machines.
- Perform machine cleaning, changeovers, and minor maintenance tasks.
- Input job settings into computer workstations and maintain accurate production records in Excel spreadsheets.
- Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, and gauges to ensure precision and product quality.
- Support production by monitoring machines and addressing issues as they arise.
- Keep workspaces clean and organized.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: GED or higher required.
- Skills:
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Excel.
- Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
- Other Requirements:
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
