Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find local talent. We are currently recruiting for Sitdown Forklift/General Labor associates for our clients located in Charlotte, NC.
Mon-Fri 1st shift, Pay is $16/hr.
Ability to operate multiple lifts is a plus (sit down, stand up, cherry picker, reach lift).
8-12 hour shifts are available, some may have OT.
Responsibilities for a Forklift Operator:
- Pick orders off racks in the warehouse
- Accurately pull orders using the RF scanners and by paper.
- Deliver pallets/product to desired locations.
- Shipping receiving, material handling
- Loading unloading trucks by hand and with lifts.
- Heavy lifting is required.
- Warehouse work is required (up to 70%)
Requirements of a Forklift Operator:
- 1 or more years experience with the sitdown forklift.
- *Attention to detail
- Safety minded
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to move/lift 60 lbs. consistently
