Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a 1st shift Warehouse Associate for our client in North Charlotte, NC.
Pay: $16/hr. to $18/hr. 1st shift hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday, no weekends
Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate:
- process orders as they are submitted to the warehouse; pull items from the associated BINS on rack system in warehouse while ensuring accuracy of orders and items.
- confirm order accuracy of items on packing sip coincides with items that were picked prior to packaging everything together in the most efficient manner possible. Prepare goods for shipment, including the potential of shrink-wrapping pallets and loading delivery vehicles.
- process item fulfillment for shipping, software to generate the packing slip, label boxes to company standards.
- receive and put away hardware as it comes into the warehouse. If required relabel hardware as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements of a Warehouse Associate:
- 2-4 years of warehouse experience preferred
- strong attention to detail
- ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs.) and perform physical tasks as required.
- basic mechanical knowledge a plus
- ability to work well independently or in a group setting.
