Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for Custom Cabinetry Builders for our client in North Charlotte, NC.
Pay rate: $17/hr. - $18/hr. DOE Hours: 1st shift hours: Monday - Thursday 7am -4:30 pm, Fridays 7am - 11am
Responsibilities of a Custom Cabinet Builder:
- assemble custom commercial cabinetry, from reading and interpreting engineering schematics
- ability to assist in the finishing of cabinets
- moving of the assembled cabinetry from one department to another
- maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times.
- all other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements of a Custom Cabinet Builder:
- ability to read and interpret site, architecture, engineering schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
- ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions
- ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
Physical Requirements of a Custom Cabinet Builder:
- MUST be able to continually stand and walk for long periods
- OCCASIONALLY required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl for long periods
- MUST be able to continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information
- MUST be able to continually to lift, push, carry items up to 100 pounds.
- Frequent exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
- The noise level in the work environment for this position is usually of a loud nature.
