Essential Functions
- Maintains welds on various items using a variety of processes (manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, cement core drilling, sheet metal, steam-fitting etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability and functioning of required items ensuring safety.
•Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications:
•Must have MIG and some TIG welding experience
•Experience working with Steel
•Ability to operate equipment used in welding and metal fabrication including band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill, press, chop saw etc.
•Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
•Must have good eye for detailed inspection.
•Able to work independently.
•Must adhere to safety procedures.
•Must be ambitious, energetic, and quality conscious.
