We are seeking a dedicated CERTIFIED Flagger to join our team. As a Flagger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction sites and roadways by directing traffic and communicating with equipment operators.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic to ensure the safety of construction workers and the public
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators and other flaggers
- Set up and maintain work zones according to safety regulations
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate the movement of materials
- Perform utility locating tasks as needed
Requirements
-MUST BE CERTIFIED
- Experience in construction site flagging is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as Caterpillar, dump trucks, backhoes, front loader trucks, and graders
- Ability to operate equipment like loaders efficiently
- Familiarity with utility locating procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
