JOB DESCRIPTION: Service and delivery of rehabilitation and durable medical equipment
Purpose and Scope: Delivers, installs, and services power and manual rehabilitation equipment, as well as durable medical equipment.
Responsibilities: Implements service calls to facilities and clients; maintains company-owned equipment; delivery and pick up of equipment, to include set up and patient education of equipment; maintenance of company vehicle. Completes service forms accurately and legibly.
Organizational Relationships: IL/VR of North Carolina, MDA/ALS Associations, industry service schools, and the disabled community.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Training: High school diploma, mechanical and electronic ability, service background, customer service skills.
· Technical Requirements: Mechanical ability, electronics knowledge
· Experience: Customer service skills, service industry experience strongly suggested
· Able to lift 35 lbs. to 55 lbs. Weights over 55 lbs. should have mechanical assistance or team lifting.
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to work well with others and take direction
*Must have valid Driver's license
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in military or related fields
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician
