Job Description:
As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating a cherry picker to move, locate, and retrieve products within the warehouse. Your role will involve working closely with the warehouse team to meet shipping and receiving deadlines while ensuring all products are handled with care. We are willing to train you for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the cherry picker to lift and retrieve products from high shelves or storage areas.
Safely load, unload, and stack materials, ensuring products are placed correctly.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or issues.
Assist with general warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a cherry picker or other material handling equipment.
Familiarity with basic warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
Training is available.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification or experience operating other warehouse equipment.
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking or order management systems.
Pay: $17.00 (+) per hour (Increases based on prior experience)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours
