Job Posting: Tenon Machine Operator
Location: Hickory
Position Overview:
As a Tenon Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and feeding the Tenon machine to size, trim, notch, groove, or cut various furniture parts. Your work will be vital to ensuring the precision and quality of our furniture components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and feed Tenon machine to size, trim, notch, groove, or otherwise cut furniture parts according to specifications.
- Ensure that all cuts are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a Tenon machine or similar machinery in a furniture manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of machine operation and the ability to make adjustments as needed.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Experience operating other machinery in a furniture manufacturing environment may be considered.
