Position Overview:
As a Material Loader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that materials are efficiently loaded into machinery, contributing to the smooth operation of our production processes. You will utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and your own hands to maintain a consistent material feed into machines while assisting the Machine Operator as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load materials into machines using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools.
- Maintain a consistent and efficient material feed into machines to optimize production.
- Assist Machine Operators in monitoring equipment and performing minor adjustments as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform routine inspections of loading equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
