Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Lease Administrator with strong legal and leasing expertise. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail to manage lease agreements, oversee tenant upfit projects, and handle related real estate documentation. Candidates with experience in development, construction, or real estate are strongly encouraged to apply. Legal knowledge, especially with leasing documents and contract analysis, is highly valued.
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am to 5PM
Pay: BOE $15+
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and interpret lease agreements and amendments for compliance and accuracy. Summarize and analyze complex lease language, resolve lease-related issues, and track critical lease dates.
- Work with legal deeds, construction contracts, AIA forms, certificates of insurance, and commercial leasing documents. Prepare estoppels, SNDAs, and contracts for refinancing or acquisitions.
- Collaborate with contractors and tenants to manage tenant upfit and demised premises delivery, ensuring lease compliance, tracking critical dates, and verifying required documentation.
- Input lease data into accounting systems, track tenant payments, and assist with utility setup, sales reporting, and CAM reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate lease files, vacancy reports, and marketing website updates.
Qualifications:
- Proven 3-5 years’ experience in commercial real estate, legal lease interpretation, and document management.
- Familiarity with construction industry processes, including permits, upfit management, and tenant improvement allowances.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and property accounting systems (CAD experience is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with tact and diplomacy, and ensure deadlines are met.
