Express is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Diesel Fuel Injection Technician to join a family-owned business that has been committed to providing exceptional diesel services throughout Eastern North Carolina.
Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Diesel Fuel Injection Technician who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engine operations, specifically injectors and injection pumps, and be capable of repairing and testing remanufactured fuel injection components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of the functions and operations of diesel engines, particularly injectors and injection pumps.
- Clean, teardown, assemble, and test remanufactured fuel injection pumps and injectors.
- Use chemicals and mechanical methods to clean incoming pumps and injectors in accordance with company protocols.
- Disassemble cleaned assemblies using hand tools and small power tools as needed.
- Assemble pumps and injectors using various tools and equipment.
- Follow documented procedures and work instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
- Utilize a general toolset for repairs and maintenance tasks.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
- Previous experience in diesel fuel injection or a related field is required.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- A general toolset is required for the role.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the industry.

Wage:
