Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads through outbound prospecting, research, and referrals.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to both existing and potential clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and their representatives.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless lead transitions and achieve sales goals.
  • Tailored Solutions: Identify and address customer needs, providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with industry developments and trends to remain competitive.
  • Daily Call Log: Complete daily call logs detailing job bids, quotes, and customer follow-ups to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside/outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in generating quotes using job schedules and take-offs through representatives and vendors.
  • Experience handling bills of material and lighting packages.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales approaches.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to drive, sit, walk, talk, and stand for extended periods.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must have dependable transportation. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel-related expenses.
