Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled and reliable Home Remodeling Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in home remodeling or a similar role. This position involves working on various remodeling projects, including flooring, drywall, painting, and exterior improvements.
Location: Company is based in Jacksonville, travel required to Surf City, Hampstead, and Emerald Isle.
Pay: $18.25 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace flooring (hardwood, tile, laminate, etc.).
- Hang and finish drywall, including mudding and sanding.
- Perform interior and exterior painting with attention to detail.
- Assist with exterior home improvements, such as siding and trim work.
- Follow project timelines and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in home remodeling, construction, or a related field. Resume required.
- Proficiency in flooring installation, drywall work, painting, and general remodeling tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs, push, pull, crouch, stoop repetitively as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
