Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, and materials, along with the ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Utilize proper tools, materials, and equipment for plumbing tasks
- Read and follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations
- Work both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme wet conditions
- Be available for overtime, including weekends and afternoons, as needed
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a journeyman plumber (NC Plumbing Class I Contractor License preferred)
- Education: High school diploma required
- Tools: Must furnish own hand tools
- License: Must have a valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
- CDL: Must obtain a CDL permit within 6 months and a CDL license within 1 year of employment
- Drug & Alcohol-Free: Must pass periodic drug and alcohol testing
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift moderate to heavy weights
