Job Full Description

Job Title: Housekeeper

Pay: $11.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties in a hotel or similar environment
• Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators, lounges, and guest rooms
• Organize work schedule based on room status, arrivals, and departures
• Distribute linens, towels, and room supplies using carts or by hand
• Restock room supplies such as soaps, shampoos, and writing materials
• Replace dirty linens and inspect mattresses regularly
• Store and handle dirty laundry according to company policy
• Check that all room appliances are in working order
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping-related calls
• Remove room service items and ensure rooms are properly stocked
• Organize and restock housekeeping carts at the end of each shift
• Ensure guest room confidentiality and security
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation techniques, and sensitive materials
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina to push, pull, and lift as needed
