Job Description:
The candidate would help in day-to-day tasks for payroll, answering phone calls, and invoicing several accounts. All tasks would be taught but it would be appreciated for the candidate to have some experience with these tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Gathering payroll information, calculating, and assisting with weekly payroll procedures.
Entering the plumber's pay info to verify it’s been invoiced. (Data Entry in Excel & QuickBooks).
Invoicing several accounts and service customers. (Quickbooks)
Process customers’ statements and assist in collecting accounts receivable. (Quickbooks)
Assisting others in scheduling service calls if the lead service person is at lunch or out. (Google Calendar, email, phone)
Qualifications:
Pleasant customer service on the phone, effective communication via email, and directly dealing with business owners, customers, and plumbers.
Experience with Google Workplace applications (G-mail & Google Calendar).
Quickbooks proficiency is required.
Excel proficiency is required.
Experienced, self-starter, and not one needing to be micro-managed!
Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
Technical Acumen: Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues with office equipment.
