Packing Supervisor February 10, 2025

Located in Smithfield, NC

Responsibilities

Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and documented.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage packing processes.
Perform quality checks on products before packing to ensure they meet company standards.
Assist in materials handling, including loading and unloading products from trucks and storage areas.
Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize packing workflows and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety regulations at all times.
Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating packing equipment effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control processes.
Excellent materials handling skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Basic understanding of inventory management practices is desirable.
Experience in e-commerce operations is a plus but not mandatory.
