Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator and Programmer to join our team in Lancaster, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and products, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce precision parts.
- Program CNC machines using G-code or CAD/CAM software.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or programming.
- Work with engineers and production teams to optimize processes and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator and Programmer.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, CAD/CAM software).
- Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC programming or a related field is a plus.
