Position: Service Technician 

Location: Indian Trail, NC 

Pay: $18/hr. - $20/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-4pm

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Battery Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining batteries used in forklifts and other industrial equipment. This role requires a strong background in electronics and a keen attention to detail to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients' machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Testing:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on forklift batteries to identify issues and potential failures.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess battery performance and health.
  • Interpret diagnostic results to determine necessary repairs or replacements.

• Repair and Maintenance:

  • Conduct repairs on forklift batteries, including but not limited to, cell replacement, reconditioning, and cleaning.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to extend battery life and improve performance.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

• Installation and Removal:

  • Safely install and remove batteries from forklifts and other industrial equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of old batteries in compliance with environmental regulations.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining diagnostic results, repair processes, and maintenance recommendations to clients.
