Laboratory Analyst
Are you passionate about science and precision? We are screening candidates for 1 additional experienced QC technician to join a dynamic team as a Laboratory Analyst. You will make an impact by ensuring quality and accuracy in every result. You will be analyzing samples using manual and complex instrumental techniques in accordance with prescribed methods and standard operating procedures. Pay Scale: $19.25 / hour
Work Schedule: 1st Shift (M-F & periodic weekend hours)
Here are some duties of the Lab Analyst:
- Evaluate, interpret, and review sample results, including conducting peer reviews of data from others.
- Complete all quality control tasks related to the methods and maintain accurate documentation.
- Carry out tasks within defined quality control standards and adhere to specified turnaround times.
- Document observations and maintain accurate records in both physical and electronic notebooks.
- Diagnose and resolve instrument issues as needed.
- Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times.
- Stay informed about and ensure adherence to the Quality System requirements.
What we are looking for:
- 1 to 3 years of analytical laboratory experience, BS in related science is a plus
- Excellent organizational skill and attention to details
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Thrive in fast paced environment
- Rule follower
- Lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
