Job Full Description
An Inventory Intake Assistant Ninja plays a crucial role in warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate receiving, inspection, and organization of incoming shipments. We are current screening applicants for a position that supports inventory management, in a growing and fast paced Vance county warehouse. Your attention to detail will ensure efficient warehouse workflow. This is a crucial entry level position with significant room for growth within the organization.
Pay:$17 - $19/Hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive & Inspect Shipments: Verify, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Inventory Management: Record received items in the warehouse system (reporting any discrepancies) Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, invoices, and packing slips.
- Quality Control: Ensure all items meet company standards and report any damages or defects.
- Warehouse Organization: Label, store products mostly by hand into correct bins efficiently
- Equipment Handling: Operate pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and company policies for warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in non- climate controlled environment year round.
- Basic Math skills
