Job Full Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our client's warehouse team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to ensure prompt delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack products based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity and product selection.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management software to locate and process orders.
- Organize, load, and arrange picked items for efficient shipment preparation.
- Inspect products for damages and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet order deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read orders and pick lists.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Great attitude and work ethic.
