Job Full Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support financial operations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with budgeting and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills and the ability to work independently on a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping
- Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting
- Track department expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding payments
- Support grant tracking and financial documentation as needed
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of financial documents
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial principles and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
