Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral hygiene, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
- Review and maintain patient documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dental terminology.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
- Utilize software for patient management, scheduling, and documentation.
- Ensure all equipment is sterilized and maintained according to safety standards.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, systems, and office protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or office setting is an advantage.
