Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd
Location: Winston-Salem
Position Type: Full-time
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00-11:00)
Compensation: $15.50 per hour
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, possess physical strength to lift up to 50lbs, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This machine operator will be producing an erosion control product in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines to ensure they function properly
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Load and unload materials into machines
- Inspect products for quality assurance
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- Keep work area clean and organized
Machine could be either (SF1, Lathe 1 Utility, Lathe 2 Utility, HSW Utility)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and quality
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
This is a long term, evaluation to hire position.
