Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Installer / Journeyman Estimator to join a dynamic team in the Fargo, ND area. Ideal candidates should have experience working with tools, a strong driving record, and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers. While prior experience in servicing and installing gas fireplaces or journeyman certification is preferred, it is not required.
Compensation
Starting at $25.00 - $30/hour or higher, based on experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- Customer-focused with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- HVAC Journeyman license preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct customer site visits to provide estimates.
- Review previous day’s work orders with administrative staff and prepare for current day tasks.
- Verify vehicle inventory to ensure necessary tools and parts are on hand.
- Assess and troubleshoot installation or repair needs, completing tasks as possible or documenting detailed notes for follow-up.
- Update work orders to reflect tasks completed, labor, and parts used, and process customer payments.
