Job Full Description

Fargo company is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our refrigeration facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing plant efficiency, ensuring the proper functioning of refrigeration systems, leading a team of technicians, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage and lead a team of technicians and operators, providing training and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Monitor plant efficiency, energy consumption, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment repairs, upgrades, and purchasing.
Maintain detailed records of system performance, repairs, and regulatory compliance.
Assist in budgeting and cost management to optimize operational expenses.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in refrigeration plant operations or industrial refrigeration.
Must have ammonia-based cooling systems experience.
Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage teams and drive performance.
Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations related to refrigeration systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
