Position Details:
Pay is starting at $19.00-$20.00/hr ($760-$800 + OT paid weekly) Higher starting pay available depending on experience.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 4:30pm - 3:00am (2nd shift)
Responsibilities may include:
- Machine heavy production to print requirements.
- Move heavy materials (up to 20,000 lbs) and tooling using proper equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes, lifting chains/slings, etc), handling, loading, and machining heavy products to customer or in-house requirements.
- Select or modify cutting parameters to suit various applications including different materials, interrupted cuts, tooling or workpiece situations prone to vibration/chatter, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on equipment as necessary.
- Edit or occasionally program on CNC controls as necessary.
- Complete daily maintenance and repair; record actions on logs.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required.
- Experience using drill press.
- A working knowledge of CNC machine code (G & M codes).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; however, relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
