Job Full Description
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? We’re looking for skilled Multiple Spindle CNC Operators (Schütte or Swiss) to join our team! This role involves operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC lathes, ensuring the highest quality in production while keeping machines and work areas running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate one or more CNC lathe machines with efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform setup of CNC lathes, including tooling and touching off.
- Demonstrate a preferred understanding of basic G-code.
- Maintain the quality of workpieces throughout production, making necessary adjustments.
- Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures for precise machining.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide production processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating CNC lathes, especially Schütte or Swiss machines.
- Ability to set up CNC machines and understand tooling processes.
- Familiarity with basic G-code is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance, including fluid level management.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a clean and orderly environment.
