Job Full Description
We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Cycle Counter to join our warehouse team. The Cycle Counter will use a scanner to count a predetermined list of items throughout the warehouse. This role requires the ability to operate an order picker to access items stored at various heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Counting:
- Use a handheld scanner to count a predetermined list of items in the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate and precise counts of inventory items.
- Record and report any discrepancies in inventory counts to the supervisor.
- Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate an order picker to access items stored at various heights.
- Follow safety protocols when using the order picker and other warehouse equipment.
- Data Management:
- Enter and update inventory data in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain detailed records of counts and any adjustments made.
- Quality Control:
- Verify the accuracy of inventory counts and identify any potential issues.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is preferred.
- Experience operating an order picker or similar warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
