Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in cash flow management.
- Prepare and file tax reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
