Position: Cost Accountant 

Location: Lebanon, OH 

Compensation: $80-100K 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and analyze cost accounting systems and cost control procedures.
• Prepare and analyze production costs, material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
• Develop, implement, and monitor standard cost systems.
• Conduct variance analysis and report on cost discrepancies.
• Assist in inventory valuation and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to improve cost efficiencies.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights on cost trends.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience as a Cost Accountant is required 
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is a plus 
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
