Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential, commercial, and public clients. The Landscaper will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including planting, lawn care, hardscaping, irrigation, and general outdoor maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn Care and Maintenance: Mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a neat and healthy appearance.
- Planting: Select and plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants, considering the client’s preferences and environmental factors.
- Soil Management: Fertilize, aerate, and prepare soil for planting to improve plant growth.
- Maintenance: Perform general outdoor maintenance, including weeding, mulching, and pruning.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and blowers.
Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely.
- Knowledge of plants, horticulture, and general landscape maintenance techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
