Construction Office Admin

Location: Columbus Ohio

Pay:BOE

The Construction Office Admin is the main point of contact for the Construction Dept to our clients and reports to the CFO & President.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Project Managers to complete monthly AIA billings
  • Prepare Notice of Commencement and Notice of Furnishings
  • Lien waivers both from clients and to vendors
  • Collection calls for construction accounts receivables
  • Contract review
  • Administer contracts to sub-contractors
  • Issue purchase orders
  • Enter Vendor invoices in accounting system

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An eye for detail, to catch errors, and critical details
  • Math skills – data reporting, AR/AP, bookkeeping, data entry and
  • Critical thinking skills, to help work through customer problems and production issues, as well as develop strategies for improving product quality.
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Construction administrator strongly preferred
  • Familiar with QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Familiar with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excel experience must include working with, generating and modifying formulas and manipulating worksheets.
  • Experience with PDF’s and Adobe Reader
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude are a must
  • Patience to learn new methods and structure a must
