IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) Clinician - $55,000 a year and up BOE  Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Columbus, OH

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated IOP Clinician to join our team. The IOP Clinician will play a crucial role in delivering therapeutic services to individuals enrolled in our Intensive Outpatient Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, experience in group therapy, and a passion for helping individuals on their mental health and recovery journey.

As an IOP Clinician, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care, facilitate therapy sessions, and support patients in achieving their treatment goals. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with mental health and substance use concerns while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients participating in the Intensive Outpatient Program.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address clients’ emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress reviews for clients in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic and integrated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Educate clients and their families on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and aftercare planning.
  • Monitor clients’ progress and provide ongoing feedback to help them reach their goals and maintain motivation throughout treatment.
  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards, including confidentiality and patient rights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure in the state of Ohio (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or similar) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
  • Experience working with individuals in an outpatient or IOP setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient-centered approach.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including HIPAA, and ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care).
  • Experience working with a diverse population.
  • Previous experience in a substance abuse or mental health recovery program.
