Job Full Description
We are seeking a First Yard Jockeys to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Full Time
Monday to Friday
7:00am to 3:30pm
$21.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Moved trailers around in the yard
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience driving a truck, at least 12 months of recent driving.
- CDL Preferred
- Must have current DOT
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Enjoys working outside
- Strong work ethic
