Job Full Description
We are seeking Fabrication Associates to join our team! You will operate machinery and equipment, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Full Time:
Monday to Friday
6:00am to 4:00pm
$21.00 per hour to $22.00 (Based on experience)
Evaluation to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard
- Assemble pipes orders and maintain organized work supplies
- Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
- Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
- Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
- Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
- Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
- Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields
- Strong math skills for calculating product quantities.
- Capable of reading a tape measure accurately.
- Good computer skills for automated machinery.
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
