$17.50 per hour; Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Shipping and Receiving Associate in the Dublin area! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in West Columbus who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
In this role you will:
- Lift, transport, store, and load materials and products by use of cranes, hoists, or forklifts.
- Support the administration of incoming and outgoing parcels.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
- Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
- Prepare bills of lading.
- Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
- This position will also work on the production floor operating machines as needed.
We like to hear from candidates with:
- 1+ years' experience in shipping and receiving
- 1+ years' Manufacturing (operating a production machine).
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Experience with MRP, email, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Experience with electronic databases and data entry systems.
