Job Full Description
Our client in Fremont is looking for Machine Repairer Maintenance workers!
Expected results: Provide a clean, safe, and functioning workplace through maintenance of all equipment in the plant. Ideal candidates should have a Journeyman's Card or have no less than 2-3 years of prior experience with the ability to get a Journeyman's Card via an apprenticeship through the company.
Duties:
- Diagnose/troubleshoot/repair malfunctioning machines
- Perform short welding and brazing
- Fabricate, assemble, and maintain piping and piping systems
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic equipment
- Design or redesign equipment
- Install and repair wiring on a variety of fixtures, equipment, and apparatuses
- Read blueprints, manuals, and engineering memorandums to complete projects
- Installing machinery and equipment according to installation documentation
- Be able to determine type and dimension of metal stock needed for production/reproducing machine parts
- Learn and use computer machine maintenance programs
- Complete set up for laser etcher and cold seal on occasion
- other duties as required
Requirements:
- Journeyman's Card - Maintenance Machine Repairer class
- Willing to accept proficient apprentices who are willing to get their Journeyman's Card via an apprenticeship
- Must be able to provide your own tools
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to weld (TIG and MIG)
- Steel Toe Work Boots required
- Forklift preferred, but willing to train
