Express Employment Professionals in Lakewood is looking for Building Maintenance Technicians in Lakewood
Location: Lakewood area
Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday
Job Pay Rate: $15/hour+, based on experience
Job Type: Full time, Temp to Perm
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs in areas including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool, drywall, structural, and appliances
- Assist with preparing vacant units for rental
- Inspect property daily—grounds, building, vacant apartments, recreation areas, inside/outside lighting, public areas to ensure curb appeal, safety, and operational requirements
- Complete any requested paperwork in a timely manner including work orders, inspections, or communication from residents
- Work with property managers and area managers on projects as needed
Requirements:
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and reading a tape measure
- Must have your own basic tools
- Good communication skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certification such as HVAC/boiler a plus
**Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
