Express Employment Professionals in Lakewood, OH is seeking a Coater Operator for a manufacturing company that specializes in producing highly customized print materials.
Pay Rate: $15-$16/hr - paid weekly
Shifts: 2nd Shift 3:30pm to 12:00am
Job Type: Full time, Temp to Perm
Job Overview: Safely operate coater machine to produce products that meet order timeframes, quality, and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate coating machine
- Verify each production run is set at correct line speed and oven temperature
- Verify the color accuracy and consistency of inks prior to production
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance, work with co-workers to set up and change machine blades as needed
- Perform quality control on samples throughout all production stages
- Maintain machine and work area, store materials according to safety requirements
- Occasional medium to heavy lifting
- Assist with other projects as needed
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience of machine operation that includes set-up, changeover, and troubleshooting
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong communication tools
- Print industry experience a plus
- Ability to stand throughout shift
**Must have a High school diploma or GED
