Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Router Operator/Floater to join our team in Wooster, OH. This role involves operating CNC routers and assisting in various production areas as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with machinery, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to different tasks within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC routers to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials onto the router table.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or quality issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Assist in various production tasks, including assembly, packaging, and material handling.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC routers or similar machinery preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in different roles as needed to support production demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with CNC programming a plus.
